Meloneras beach is situated in the southwest of the town of Maspalomas, at the end of the bay of Costa Meloneras.
The wide and beautifully designed promenade starts at the  Maspalomas lighthouse and meanders along an extensive 500-metre-long golden sandy beach.
Its average width is about 75 metres, with gentle waves that make it perfect for families with small children. The sand is fine, golden and the water is always clean and clear.
In fact, Meloneras beach receives the Blue Flag eco-label every year, which represents standards such as clean water and the preservation of the underwater world and its animals.
The beach has toilets, parking, lifeguards, restaurants and there is even a supermarket and a shopping centre on the promenade of Meloneras Beach.
